Dance Loft Dress Codes Dress codes are an integral part of the discipline, safety and training of the art of dance. By requiring that students follow specific guidelines, it requires them to think ahead and be prepared for the learning process. Please read our dress codes carefully and understand that proper clothing, footwear, grooming, make-up and jewelry are Required & Not Optional. Please note that these requirements will be checked by all staff and choreographers. Students not following these Dress Codes will be asked to leave and return in the correct attire. Adults •  Black bottoms - Combats, leggings or track suit bottoms •  White or black top •  White or Black Trainers   Policies & Rules: •  Classes are filled on a first come first served basis. •  All dancers must pay for their class when they arrive, we do not offer a post/credit payment system. If you arrive without your class fee you will not be permitted to take part. •  We reserve the right to cancel a class or combine it with any other class as the business requires. •  Students are required to arrive 5 minutes before the class start time. At the discretion of Dance Loft late students will be asked to sit and watch the class. •  Students without the correct class attire will not be permitted to take part in the class. •  No Gum chewing or food in the studio. Chewing Gum is not permitted on the Dance Loft premises at anytime. •  Only drinks in closed containers are permitted in the studio •  Parents are kindly asked not to enter the studio, you are welcome to wait in the lounge or reception area - Please sign in at reception before going upstairs. •  No bags, bottles or personal items are allowed to be left on the studio window ledges. All bags, bottles and personal items must be left in the marked area in the studio. •  Toilet Breaks - All students must use the toilets before their class if required. Students are not permitted to leave the studio during the class to use the toilets. •  All students under 16 must be collect by a parent or guardian, we ask parents to collect students from the reception area. Students will no longer be permitted to leave the building to meet parents at the car or for them to wait outside to be collected. •  Students may use the lounge and reception area free of charge before their class. Students are not permitted to bring friends to wait in the lounge area whilst they are attending class. Parents or Guardians may wait after signing in. •  All students must respect the Dance Loft building, this means cleaning up after yourself, taking care of furniture, electrical equipment, furnishings and decoration. Any student found to behaving in a disrespectful manner or willfully damaging Dance Loft property will not be permitted to attend Dance Loft. •  Students must treat all Dance Loft Choreographers, Staff, Hosts and Chaperones with respect at all times. Any student found to be rude, disrespectful or poorly mannered will be issued a formal warning from Dance Loft and may be excluded from the building. This policy also applies during shows and events. •  Any student that is absent without contacting Dance Loft for 3 weeks will be removed from the enrollment system and will lose their place in classes. •  Smoking is not permitted in the building, smoking must be confined to the designated smoking area outside. Please use the ashtray provided. •  Spitting on Dance Loft premises or Car Park is not permitted •  Dance Loft is not responsible for students, visitors or parents belongings. Please make sure your items are safe at all times. No claims for missing items will be covered by Dance Loft •  Cars and vehicles are parked at the owners risk on Dance Loft property. Parking is for Dance Loft patrons only. Parking on Portmerion property is not permitted.   Important Legal Notice All choreography, dance routines, moves and shows are the copyright of Dance Loft. We do not use anyone else's choreography. Students are not permitted to use routines learnt in dance class at any other event. This includes Schools, Clubs, Competitions, Public or Private Events, other Dance Schools or Shows. Students are prohibited from teaching or demonstrating choreography to another person outside of Dance Loft or recording routines to any reproduction media. Legal action will be taken against any person, company or organization who breaches Dance Loft copyright in any form. All Dance Loft routines a pre recorded on video for copyright purposes.   We request that all parents, students and users of Dance Loft read and adhere to our Dress Codes and Policies.
